Everyone at The Weisblatt Law Firm appreciates both the value of an education as well as the need to help others. The escalating costs of education, including tuition, books, and housing, make it difficult for some students and their families to make ends meet.
In order to try and make financial issues a little easier, the Weisblatt Law Firm is pleased to offer a $1000.00 scholarship. The ability to apply for this scholarship is open to any individual currently enrolled in a college or graduate program, or actively applying to attend one such program in 2021-2022.
How to Apply Before May 3, 2021
To apply for the Weisblatt Law Firm Scholarship, applicants must submit a 750+ word essay on the following topic:
“What duty, if any, does a business have to protect the general public during Covid-19? What about it’s employees? Support your position.
Fill out a completed Scholarship Application Form, found below.
Our attorneys will select three finalists from the applications submitted by the May 3, 2021 deadline.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
- Be currently enrolled in a college or graduate program, or actively applying to attend one such program in 2021-2022.
Guidelines
In order for an application to qualify:
- A completed Scholarship Application Form
- Essays in pdf or word format
- Copy of college or graduate school acceptance letter
- We expect a high level of writing quality in the essays both in content and in structure. Essays with more than one spelling error and more than two grammatical errors will be eliminated from consideration for the scholarship.

Attorney Andrew Weisblatt
Mr. Weisblatt has practiced continuously since becoming licensed in 1992 and has represented businesses ranging in size from one person start-up ventures to multi-national corporations employing hundreds of people in multiple countries. From 2005 through 2009 Mr. Weisblatt was in-house counsel and chief operating officer of a multi-national corporation in the steel products industry.
